These are a couple of photos from a portrait session I did recently with two local Mixed Martial Arts fighters, Marc Lefebvre, and Jeffrey Laughren.
Both Marc and Jeff train at the Rockland Academy of Martial Arts (RAMA) and will be fighting on the Wreck Mma: Strong and Proud card January 28th, 2011 at the Casino de Lac-Leamy in Gatineau.

I wanted to share a note I received today from Shannon, a long time client of ours.
We’ve done several Boudoir sessions together and we’re excited to be photographing her upcoming wedding in the spring.
“I haven’t always been outgoing or confident. It’s something I’ve had to work hard for. A few years ago, I was looking to do something that would help express myself in a different way and perhaps boost my confidence. That’s when I met Linda. She offered to meet with me to discuss a boudoir session. She took the time to get to know my interests, and my personality. I went home that day inspired and looking forward to the photo shoot. The day of the photo shoot brought a lot of nerves but as soon as I entered her studio, I realized she was going to take care of me and ensure I looked my best. Linda was aware of my nerves and offered to start off with head shots so I could get used to the camera. That’s what Linda is about, making sure the client is always comfortable. Well, let me just say that after a few head shots I was open for anything. She not only takes your photo, she shows you some of the proofs immediately to help boost your confidence. That’s when all the ideas start to come together.
Time flew by and before I knew it, we were trying different shots and I felt like Linda was a friend more than anything. Linda really involves herself into every frame she takes. She is a true artist and she could see things in me that I couldn’t even see. I came back a few weeks later when the proofs were ready and we spent time going over every single one and modifying each one to make it unique. The options are just amazing and you can’t help but want to go back for more and that’s what I did. A few months ago, I went back for a second session. I had lost 40 lbs and I wanted to reward myself. Linda was more than happy to help me out and the photos look amazing. My fiancée was very impressed with my proofs. He was shocked with how well the photos had turned out. I loved my experiences with Linda so much so that my fiancée and I have asked her to shoot our upcoming wedding in May 2011. I cannot envision anyone else doing my wedding. She is a wonderful person with a beautiful talent who brings out the best in anyone she works with. She brought out parts of me that I did not know existed and I have and will continue to recommend her to anyone who is looking for a photographer.”

Here is a photo from a session we did with Baby Chloe and her big sister Victoria.
The girls were in our studio with their parents for a family portrait when I captured this picture. Photographing children is a bit of an art, you can’t set a schedule. The kids will let you know when they’re ready to go. As you can see, these girls were a dream to work with.
They had a blast, and that made it fun for everyone.

Sonia came in for a Boudoir session recently. She’s a Bruins fan and as you can see, she’s not afraid to show it.
(We’re Ottawa Senators fans around here, but we won’t hold that against Sonia)

Recently, Mathieu and his baby brother Justin were in our studio with the rest of their family for a portrait sitting.
I’ve already posted a photo of Mathieu from this session Here.
Their visit was a lot of fun and the boys couldn’t have behaved better.
